Taylor was named a Texas Main Street City in 1999 and has many wonderful historic buildings and businesses. It is also the heart of the Texas Barbecue Trail with two of the top barbecue restaurants in the state and home of the annual Taylor Barbecue Cook-off in August. Talbot Street B&B is also only ten minutes away from the Triple Crown Dog Academy in Hutto, fifteen minutes from Dell Diamond, home of the Round Rock Express AAA Baseball team, thirty minutes from the antique shops in Salado, and thirty-five minutes from Austin, the capital city of Texas. We will be happy to provide you with information about local restaurants, events, and entertainment during your visit.
